TYPES OF ALUMINUM WINDOW PROFILES
Cold
Cold windows do not have the ability to insulate and are used in cases where the intensity of heat removal through openings is not important. Such windows use a hollow profile with a single chamber without thermal inserts and seals. Such windows are optimal either in areas that are not adjacent to the street - indoor glazing, for example, office partitions, the entrance to a insulated loggia, or in rooms that are not heated at all – balconies, gazebos, verandas, and so on.
The choice of glass for cold windows is quite large: transparent, frosted, tinted, tempered or even armored glass. Depending on the operating conditions, a sandwich panel can be installed instead of glass.

Warm
Warm windows consist of a multi – chamber aluminum profile (with thermal inserts) and double-glazed single-chamber, double-chamber or energy-saving windows. Internal thermal inserts are an effective barrier to cold street air and external sounds. Such a thermal insulation layer is placed between the outer and inner shell of the window, which prevents the spread of heat flow, as a result reducing the thermal conductivity of the profile several times.
Warm window profiles are not inferior in their energy efficiency indicators to plastic ones. Such solutions are optimal for residential buildings (transparent facades), shop windows, terraces, etc.
